Dual 6.5-inch (165mm) Polycellulose Ribbed Cone Woofers

The 260F features Polycellulose ribbed cone woofers. This pure pulp cone has a proprietary mix of other materials added to improve its rigidity and the ribs echo legendary JBL designs. These woofers produce deep, accurate, room filling bass.

1-inch (25mm) Anodized Aluminum Tweeter in a Next Generation HDI™ Waveguide

Through intense research of previous waveguide designs, JBL has developed a new complex geometry that improves directivity, reduced diffraction, and an overall neutral frequency response both on and off axis. The Stage 2 HDI Horn is coupled to an anodized aluminum dome tweeter to enhance efficiency and dynamics. This new design offers a neutral frequency response both on and off axis.

Compatible with 240H Atmos Module

The 260F mates perfectly with the 240H to add Dolby Atmos to your system for an enhanced listening experience. Dedicated Atmos 5-way binding posts hide the wiring and create a seamless appearance.

Precision 2.5-Way Crossover

The 260F floorstanding model features a unique two and a half-way crossover design. This unique design crossed over the top woofer right below the tweeter's output, while the other woofer is crossed over at a lower frequency. This creates a dynamic mid-range but both woofers still extend as deep as they can go for powerful bass. This produces cohesive balanced output with a robust low end that can be both heard and felt.

Premium components are used to construct the crossovers fitted to the Stage 2 line. The High frequency section features air core inductors and mylar capacitors. These premium materials can handle more power and transmit energy faster elevating system performance.

5-way Binding Posts

Sturdy 5-way binding posts provide the listener with their choice of high-quality connection. They also match the binding posts on the JBL MA AVRs, carrying the cohesive look throughout.

Magnetically Attached Grilles

Stage 2 has premium details throughout the line including magnetically attached grilles, unique trim rings and the floating front baffle design - upscale features not typically found on loudspeakers in this price range.

Dedicated ATMOS 5-Way Binding Posts with Integrated Wire Management

The 260F features dedicated Atmos 5-way biding posts at the bottom and top of the speakers. This unique design hides the wiring providing a clean uncluttered look. If the Atmos terminal are nor used a cover is provided.

Dual Flared Racetrack Rear-Firing Tunes Ports

Dual racetrack flared ports are featured on the 280F. This new flared design reduces the velocity of the air when exiting the speaker cabinet, eliminating any chuffing or coloration of output.

Dolby Atmos® Height Module Compatible with Stage 280F and 260F

The 240H Dolby Atmos enabled height modules are outfitted with the same woofer and horn from the 240B bookshelf model. They are easily connected via binding posts on the top back of both floorstanding models, or surround channels that can be mounted on the wall or ceiling.

Crafted with the vision of providing extraordinary acoustic performance, the GAIA III is the union of aesthetic visual design and acoustic engineering. The small compact design delivers unbelievable acoustic isolation that will bring out clarity and openness from your speaker like you’ve never heard.

The sound stage blossoms to open up a three-dimensional image of natural, spatial sound.

Designed for floor standing speakers and subwoofers weighing up to 70 lbs (32 KG), the GAIA III will provide more openness and clarity. Structural borne noise is greatly reduced while internal reflections from the hard-supporting surface are attenuated resulting in greater sound clarity and openness.

Optimal results are achieved by installing the GAIA isolators with the logo facing the listening position, or rotated 180 degrees, to align the isolators with the speaker’s motive forces. The GAIA III provides a high degree of isolation while resisting lateral movement and oscillations to maintain alignment with the listening position. Lift and place the speakers into position as the GAIA lower isolators will adhere to the supporting surface.

The GAIA’s are threaded into the base of the speaker or subwoofer to replace the existing spikes or feet. Threading the GAIA’s into the base of the speaker creates a strong connection with the speaker. With the top of the GAIA housing connected with the speaker and the bottom of the GAIA connected to the supporting surface, all of the energy is then managed by the GAIA’s internal isolator.

The GAIA III includes thread adaptors for sizes M6-1.0, M8-1.25 and ¼”-20. Alternative thread size adaptors are available upon request through IsoAcoustics distributors.
