DALI Oberon 7 C Active Floorstanding Speakers - Black
This is an ex-display or ex-demonstrator unit. No change of mind returns.The OBERON 7 C is intended for more expansive homes where music has space to breathe and can be played at higher volume levels compared to OBERON 1 C. It will suit more ambitious music lovers and audiophiles, keen to make a grander statement with their audio system. With more space and speaker positioning options available in larger rooms, it is perhaps more likely that OBERON 7 C speakers will be located on either side of a screen and used for TV audio, but still, music playback from CD or streaming services will probably be their primary role.
The slender, floor-standing DALI OBERON 7 C sports two 7 inch wood fibre cones featuring DALI's patented SMC technology - and the same ultra-lightweight 29mm soft dome tweeter as the OBERON 1 C. Despite its size, the OBERON 7 C is a subtle performer and impresses with its ability to render any style of music naturally and lifelike, even at low volume levels. The OBERON 7 C incorporates an integral die-cast plinth fitted with attachment points for floor-spikes or compliant feet.
The wall-mounted OBERON ON-WALL C is intended to find a role in any size room that includes a TV with space for speakers on both sides. However, the OBERON ON-WALL C is equally adept at reproducing all audio formats and is part of DALI's wireless Hi-Fi eco system.
The OBERON ON-WALL C was designed with TV audio very much in mind and despite its compact dimensions, the combination of DALI technologies employed endow it with performance comparable to significantly larger speakers. The OBERON ON-WALL C is designed specifically for direct wall mounting via rear panel keyhole slots. Portrait and landscape orientations are both accommodated.

The compactness of the OBERON ON-WALL C makes it easy to integrate into any room. To achieve a wide dispersion pattern in the listening area, the driver materials and geometry applied in the OBERON ON-WALL C have been carefully selected. The same principles have been applied in the design of the crossover.
As result, you will experience a well-integrated sound, even when listening at a significant off-axis angle. This is important as you are rarely seated directly in front of your loudspeakers when listening to music. An added benefit is seriously reduced harmonic distortion and diffractions causing frequency distortion, as these will always be stronger in an on-axis response. This is also the reason why all DALI speakers are not designed to be toed-in.
The OBERON VOKAL C is an active wireless centre channel speaker designed specifically to complete a wireless OBERON C surround setup, delivering that all-important dialogue audio loud and clear!

The SUB E-9 features a 9” woofer, capable of moving lots of air with power and precision. The cone is made from pure aluminium for maximum stiffness and a becoming exterior. Furthermore, the heavy magnet system wields a massive 4-layer, long-stroke voice coil.
All in all, the heavy-duty abilities of this “motor system” ensure that the woofer always follows the signal from the amplifier!
The heart of this subwoofer is the 170W RMS Class D amplifier with a highly linear response. Embracing a classic DALI trademark, it simply acts as a total low frequency extension of your AV system. The result is a powerful, wellbalanced bass reproduction and flawless integration with your speakers. In addition, the integrated limiter helps protecting your subwoofer against overloading.
The back plate of SUB E-9 F features controls for volume adjustment, phase, and upper cut-off frequency, while the power on/off function works automatically via signal detection. And with the options for LFE or LINE inputs, this subwoofer easily accompanies any AV set up.
SUB E-9 F is elevated from the floor by cone shaped rubber feet, while a down-firing bass port allows positioning directly against the wall.
The DALI Sound Hub provides wireless connection to the RUBICON, CALLISTO and OBERON Active speakers as well as hosting several inputs including the option for the BluOs wireless streaming module. The Compact hub provides wireless connection to the above speakers with the addition of an ARC HDMI input so you can take your sound from your TV directly into your speakers. (No Card option)
Wireless Audio Transfer
The wireless connection between the Sound Hub and the speakers is an extremely stable digital connection, made on either the 2.4 GHz or the 5.8 GHz band depending on location and quality of the connection. The proprietary 30 bit protocol transfers an uncompressed I2S audio signal in 24 bit 96 kHz, utilising the remaining bits to control volume, speaker ID and other control data. Because it works on a less trafficked band, and the protocol is specially designed for transporting an audio signal, the connection is highly stable introducing next to no packet loss.
The HDMI expansion module for the DALI SOUND HUB lets you stream up to 7.1 channels of Dolby & DTS wireless surround sound from your TV to your active speakers.
The NPM-2i BluOS expansion module for the SOUND HUB allows multi-room connection to compatible devices.
Convert any active subwoofer into a wireless subwoofer with the DALI WSR (Wireless Subwoofer Receiver).
Truly immersive surround sound is best with a subwoofer. If you already have an active subwoofer you like, the DALI WSR (Wireless Subwoofer Receiver) is just the ticket to integrate it into your wireless surround system.
Simply connect the sub out jack to the subwoofer input and power the WSR from a USB-C power supply. Now your subwoofer is officially a part of your active wireless surround system!
