This large Tier 2 in-ceiling loudspeaker can be utilised as both a single stereo speaker for music or as a di-pole or bi-pole surround sound speaker for exhilarating movie sound. It has a cut-out dimension of 248 mm and revolutionary patented Quik-Link speaker cable connector and Tri-Grip II for quick, simple, reliable and strong installation and fitting.
Ideal for both music and movies, the large in-ceiling C2L-T2X allows the user to switch between Music mode for wide dispersion and Movie mode for spatial effects. It is a two-way model featuring an RST II dual-coil bass driver and two C-CAM tweeters.
C2L-T2X has three modes:
- Cinema Mono FX (Di-pole, tweeters out of phase)
- Mono Wide Dispersion (Bi-Pole, tweeters in phase)
- Single Speaker Stereo (two binding posts accepting connection to two separate amplifier channels)
C2L-T2X is ideal used as rear surround channels, within corridors or large areas where maximum coverage is required, and in compact areas where there isn’t space to fit two speakers.
Optional square grille can be used with this model.

Boundary EQ
All the Creator Series in-ceiling models perform exceptionally well in a variety of locations, including when close to secondary walls. However, as you move up through the tiers, the models feature enhanced technologies such as boundary correction and high and mid-frequency cut/boost that allows them to be placed in trickier locations such as corners. Because sound performance shouldn’t be compromised by placement.
T2X
The In-Ceiling T2X is available in medium and large sizes, can be used in ‘cinema mono FX’, ‘mono wide dispersion’ and ‘single stereo’ modes. T2X is ideal used as rear surround channels, Dolby Atmos® systems, within corridors or large areas where maximum coverage is required, and in compact areas where there isn’t space to fit two speakers.
Tri-Grip II
Tri-Grip II is a new dog-leg mechanism that is considerably stronger and more reliable than the previous generation, meaning both speaker placement and extraction could not be simpler.
Quik-Link
Our new innovative Quik-Link terminal revolutionises speed of installation. With Quik-Link you can make cable connections up the ladder at pre-installation stage. Once the installation is complete, the terminal, which is now connected with the speaker cables, magnetically snaps and locks into place on the rear of the speaker as you place the speaker into ceiling or wall. It’s that easy.
