KEF Ci5160REFM-THX In-Wall Speaker

The standards of architectural speakers have been reset forever. We introduce the in-wall KEF Ci5160REF-THX - the newest addition to THE REFERENCE family, meeting KEF’s standards for Extreme Theatre as well as THX Ultra2 Certification.

The KEF Ci5160REF-THX is built to the same exacting standards as the KEF REFERENCE models. And like all REFERENCE speakers, the Ci5160REF-THX comes with the REFERENCE Build Certificate signed by the craftsman who built it.

Uni-Q Driver Array

At the heart of the Ci5160REF-THX is the 12th generation of the KEF’s signature innovation: the Uni-Q point source MF/HF driver array. With a 25mm vented aluminium dome tweeter at the exact acoustic centre of a 125mm mid-range driver, both act as a single source that floods the listening space evenly with a flawless natural sound field.

Bass Drivers

Like everything else about THE REFERENCE, the bespoke 165mm LF driver optimised for use in-wall, is a class apart. With a massive vented magnet assembly and a large aluminium wire voice coil driving an exceptionally light, stiff and strong alloy cone, the dynamics and power handling are superb.
